We operate with the approval of both the Department
of Human Resources and the Department of Medical Assistance.
Beginning in 1999 Southern Resources Consultants,
Inc., has earned national accreditation from CARF: The Rehabilitation Accreditation Agency
Choosing a staff person who cares
about you...
We work with your health caregiver to assist you
in traveling in your community within your wishes and abilities.
Our well-trained staff provides daily assistance
in your home, including 24 hour a day care if authorized
by the Department of Medical Assistance. We work with you
to select the caregiver who can meet your needs as well as
make you comfortable.
We work with you and your family to
provide staff, which can be available for emergencies and
for those times when your primary caregiver cannot be
with you. Our staff is fully trained to meet all state
and federal standards and requirements. In addition, each
staff person receives training in all areas of consumer
support, including CPR and First Aid. We have individuals
that are Certified Nurse Assistants and Nurse Aids who have
completed training established by the National League of
Nurses. We also offer training in consumer rights,
communication and professionalism.
Consumer involvement...
(SRC) has established procedures that encourage
participation from consumers in the organizational process.
The areas of involvement include: active membership
on agency committees, regular participation in agency planning,
and opportunities to be involved in specific aspects of Human
Resources.

SRC strives to provide the highest level
of quality health care to all persons we serve by our agency. We utilize
Quality Assurance and Improvement oversight committees made
up of consumers.
