In-Home Companionship Care
Having someone to sit and visit can
help make for a happier healthier life whether it's conversation
and company, or just eating a meal together. SRC caregivers
are available by the hour, by the day or by the week and can
tailor a package to meet your individual needs.
Meal Preparation
Many seniors do not have the opportunity
to eat a well balanced meal. Let our caregiver prepare a hot,
delicious meal for you.
Light housekeeping
Some of the housekeeping tasks our caregivers
can assist with: Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping
floors, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, taking out the trash, straightening all rooms, organizing
closets and drawers, cleaning any interior that can be reached
without a ladder.
Errand Services
Caregivers can run errands such as picking
up prescriptions, going to the post office, etc.
Grocery Shopping
Caregivers will shop with or without the
individual accompanying them. They can shop at any stores
the individual prefers.
Transportation Assistance
We can assist with trips to doctor appointments,
barber shops, beauty salons, and shopping. Caregivers can utilize
the individual's own vehicle, public transportation or use a rental car. SRC believes that
elderly individuals who continue to enjoy their community
are healthier in body, mind and spirit.
24 Hour Care Available
For those individuals that can't be left
alone, we can be there 24 hours a day.
Respite-Care Available
SRC can also provide assistance so caretakers
can run errands, go shopping or get some much needed rest.
SRC believes rest and relief for families who are assisting
with the care of their loved ones is vitally important.
Daily "TLC" Phone Calls
This service is just the ticket for those
individuals who may not need someone coming to their home
every day, but that would appreciate the peace
of mind knowing that if they need something, we will be checking
in. We provide short check-in calls and longer calls where we
have a staff person spend at least 15 min with the individual
by phone.
Laundry or Linen Washing
This can be done in either the individuals
home or a laundromat.
Clothes shopping
Sometimes it is a dress for a special occasion
or just the opportunity to shop the stores the elderly person
has enjoyed for years, but SRC caregivers understand why shopping
is so important. SRC caregivers will assist elderly individuals
with mall shopping as well as mail order shopping.
Recreational Activities
SRC can help keep elderly individuals stay
active in mind and body as they enjoy cards, board games,
crafts and the grandkid's baseball games. We can take the
individual out to enjoy their favorite activities.
Grooming and Dressing Guidance
We can help with buttons, tie shoes,
put on socks, wash and comb hair, etc.
Organize Incoming Mail
SRC caregivers will assist the individual
separate the junk mail from the bills, let them know what
is due & when.
Periodic Review with Family
On a reoccurring basis we can contact the
family to discuss how things are going, answer any concerns
or redefine any services that may be needed. This is a great
service for individuals whose family lives far away and may
not be in daily contact with their loved one.
24 Hour Emergency Response System
In the event
of an emergency, SRC can assist you to get help with systems that allow you to be virtually
anywhere in your home and have assistance available at the
touch of a button.
